Tonight we (Anand, Cyrus, and myself) continued with our Sunday dinner tradition. We usually base our dinners from The World's Healthiest (if you've not been to this site, you are really missing out on some ridiculously healthy, easy, and good tasting recipes). Tonight's meal was especially good:
- Rosemary Lamb Chops - These are a little pricey, but totally worth it. Be careful when using the quick broil cooking method. It cooks the lamb chops in under 20 minutes and keeps them moist, however you have to cook at 550oF. I recommend re-seasoning the lamb chops when you turn them. The lemon juice is what makes this.
- Pureed Navy Beans - This was a total surprise. "Pureed navy beans" just doesn't sound good, and the light brownish puree isn't all that appealing, but after one taste, you'll be a believer. This recipe is cheap, quick, and absolutely amazing. Trust me, try it.
- Fresh Greens w/Edible flower - Sorry no link, this was something Cyrus, picked up at a local market. Just about any salad will do. Alternatively you could try the WH recommended Mediterranean Kale. I've not had it but I'm sure its good.
- Cabernet Sauvignon - Perfect pairing for the lamb.
